Ida Maria Grassi Saxophone12/11/2020
I dont know if she got it from someone or if it was bought new.Honest but with little else.Worth around 500 usd if in great condition, but generally the laquer decays extremely soon.I Got a baritone, that has been great.
I havent noticed a lot about this particular design, and I cant find any info that actually details its worthy of. ![]() Ida Maria Grassi Saxophone Cracked Open UpI cracked open up the case and analyzed it, and it seems like a really good horn The tips are quick with no have fun with in the barreIs, the lacquer is usually in great condition (except for one spot, which Ill describe) and it appears pretty strong (weighty, too). Ive heard that the Professional 2000 will be a great horn, but nothing about the Model 2000. As for that lacquer place, there can be a little bit of oxidation ón the bell át the base of the engraving, and it doesnt seem too bad. Basically, is definitely this a professional horn Why or why not What makes it different than the Professional 2000 Should I suggest my buddy to buy this horn (Its selling for 900 USD). Hes playing a college student Jupiter Capital Copy Alto CES 760 right now. Pictures connected, one of which consists of the oxidation ón the bell. I dont know anything about the sax market in the US, but centered on my experiences from right here, Id think you could obtain something identical for less, or better for the same money. Ive certainly not really grasped the variation between college student and professional saxes. Saxes are either great or not really so great, withincreasing price you run into the regulation of diminishing marginal comes back, some affordable saxes are great and some quite expensive types are complete lemons. ![]() Also, I believe that this horn is definitely not Taiwanese, but produced in Italia. The bell éngraving in one óf the photos states Made in Italy, which regarding to the hyperlink, means that it has been indeed made in Italia, and that thé Taiwanese horns only say Italia on them. In addition, I havent obtained anything against taiwanése saxes, their regular of produce is pretty higher, its simply that theres an bad great deal to select from and a customer can end up being choosy based on cost. You do the same. Id imagine there wont become a great deal to state spend another 900 on the Grassi, unless theres something wrong with the Jupiter. Nevertheless its nice to have got something a little different to everyone else. The various other model, Reputation Series (goldplated) costed 1495,00. I would state that grassi saxes are usually an higher more advanced sax. Nice saxes. But I think 900,00 is very a lot for a Grassi. I reacently bought a good tenor here in Sweden, fróm the 80s, for a friend for c 500,00. Also a fine sax. At the same aspect in the cataIouge Borgani Jubilee aIto collection were introduced for 1695,00 for GP or Pearl Sterling silver. Thomas. Probably you could inquire Captain Beeflat, since he is usually one of the Grassi lovers around right here. ![]()
